For years I used the "blade in the box" technique which was inaccurate,  inefficient, and resulted in excess waste.  The box slitter tool was created, patented and manufactured to provide a light weight, easy to transport straight edge with a mounted blade that easily moves through material. 

We manufacture straight edge, measure marked aluminum bars at varying lengths with a durable powder coated finish.  The bars hold snuggly into your material box (film or wrap) and fit with the patented cutter head attachment.   The cutter head  assembly includes replaceable blades which means your system will last for years to come.   All bars, cutter heads and blades can be purchased separately or as a complete system.
